LN: Tell us about yourself and your role at LogiNext.

PB: I am glad to be here to be able to share my views… I have always been good with numbers and this is what led me to pursue a career as a Chartered Accountant and also a Company Secretary. At LogiNext, I am a part of the Accounts and Finance team. We’re in a hyper growth stage right now which brings its own set of challenges but I like the immense responsibility that comes along with it.

LN: You’ve had an interesting journey within the organization, tell us about it. How did you begin and what has changed over time?

PB: Joining Loginext has been very exciting and interesting journey for me. I joined LogiNext  during the lockdown and to be frank, I had always been a number person and worked around financial and legal matters only. But joining LogiNext opened up an entirely new horizon for me with the SaaS industry. It gave me the freedom to do multiple things at a time which were not even a part of my field or the area of experience… I learned a lot more than I was expecting from any other job and it’s been a great experience.

LN: What’s the best thing you like about your role?

PB: The best thing about my job role is that I get to interact with every aspect of the organization which helps me to better understand the individual roles and to be able to be a part of the overall problem-solving for the benefit of the organization.

LN: Any tips for aspiring professionals in your domain? What has helped you in the journey?

PB: For all the aspiring professionals in my field… I would suggest don’t limit yourself to one domain. Keep exploring, keep learning, every one and every place is a teacher! I always try to have this mindset of learning. In earlier years of your career, try to gain as much as practical knowledge of different job profiles that you can until you find the one particular area which is your area of interest. Even if you like doing multiple things and not being in just one area, that’s also fine. As long as you enjoy your work, that is all that matters

LN: Tell us something about your personal life. How do you balance your life?

PB: Balancing work life is a very important but tricky part of being in a fast-growing business or profession… You should know what makes you feel relaxed over the weekend or even during the weekdays. I prefer doing some sort of light exercise in the morning before going to work which helps me to concentrate better in my work. My weekends are full of art and music! Being a trained classical dancer, I never stopped dancing in my life and that really gives me the shine from within and helps me remain the person I am today 🙂

LN: Who are your role models within the organization and outside?

PB: I am not the kind of person who has one role model in life. I get inspired by the smallest of things if done sincerely and from the tiniest of incidents. I believe in being like a hummingbird and pick up the sweetness of virtue and I can literally pick one good habit from 10 other bad habits of a person.

But I would like to mention that I have been blessed and honored to be able to work with great minds in my life and Dhruvil Sanghvi is one of them. I got the opportunity to work with him and learn the nitty-gritties of work. One of the biggest lessons learnt have been- If you really want to do something in life, you should have no excuse to not do it.

LN:  If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

PB: If I could change one thing in the world that would be definitely compulsory primary education to each and every individual so that they can make an informed decision about what they want to do with their life. Education for everyone!

LN: What thoughts do you want to leave the readers with?

PB: Last but not the least it may sound cliche but yes, I’d like to share-

Do not wait for that particular moment in your life and stick to it saying that you’ll be happy only when it is achieved! You should be able to be happy with the process of reaching there too… Wish you all a very happy and healthy life!
